State of the Union Address 2018 Live Stream: How to Watch Online
It is weird to think that President Trump has been in office for over a year now. The first State of the Union Address was given live on TV in 1947 by President Truman. President Lyndon Johnson would give the first State of the Union on TV at night. However, networks wouldn’t start airing it fully until 1968. The State of the Union Address is an interesting time because it is the one time when the President will let everyone know what is going on.
Most of them are not worth watching except for the one that will be given by Trump. It will be interesting to see what he brings up. For instance, does he bring up the Russian Investigation, his affair with Stormy Daniels, the government shutdown that happened? It will be interesting to see how much he says that its “fake news.” All over Facebook, I have seen people saying that they won’t watch it because they are not liking what he has done. I am curious to see if he brings up the report from the New York Times that talked about him wanting to fire Mueller last June.
Since this is his second State of the Union Address, I figured I would give my grade. I would grade him at a D-. The only thing I will give him credit for is that he has turned the economy around. He hasn’t been able to fulfill any other promises from the campaign. Furthermore, my hunch is that he will reiterate a lot in his speech that he is not at fault. Hence, it’s the Democrats or the fake media that is causing the problems.
