Super Bowl LII: New York is the loser in the long run

In two weeks, the Philadelphia Eagles are set to face the New England Patriots for the right to call themselves the top team in the NFL. While it will probably be a good game, there is one state that probably doesn’t care who wins. New York doesn’t care who wins the Super Bowl LII. The only exception to that is if you’re a fan of either the Eagles or Patriots.

When you look at New York, you have three teams. You have the New York Giants, New York Jets, and the Buffalo Bills. If you’re a Giants fan than you don’t want the Eagles to win. On the flip side, if you’re a fan of the Jets or Bills than you probably don’t want the Patriots to win. Whoever ends up winning, they will gloat about it for the 2018 season. I figure that everyone will still watch it because it’s the Super Bowl, but New Yorker’s not a fan of either team don’t care. New Yorker’s are probably hoping for good commercials.

I am curious to see when the ratings come out, how New York ends up doing. What people forget is New York is a major TV market. However, due to this being two teams that are rivals of New York it will be interesting to see. If you are a fan of the Giants and are rooting for the Eagles and if you’re a Jets fan and are rooting for the Patriots to win, then I would like for you to turn in your team card. If you do that then you are a fraud.
