Tennessee Titans: Offseason Panic Mode 2021 Edition
The Tennessee Titans have finally come to find what they’ve been missing for years, consistency. While they still have their struggles, they’re finding ways to overcome them. However, if they can’t fix the struggles for the offseason, the panic mode will return.
Is Tannehill Good Enough?
Ryan Tannehill has been good enough to get the Titans to the playoffs, but can he get them to the Super Bowl? If he can, can he win it all? Their offense is very run-heavy but Tannehill does enough if defenses take Henry out of their attack. He seems to be a different quarterback in Tennessee than he was in Miami. Hopefully, his gripe on this offense can get them there.
Can They Find Help For Derrick Henry?
Derrick Henry is a one-man wrecking crew when it comes to pounding the football. There’s rarely an instance where he’s not moving the chains. The Titans need to find a way to get Henry involved without him being involved. Between being a decoy for other plays to shine, and players stepping up and opening lanes for DH, Tennessee could use a few more spread playmakers.

Can They Find Production At Tight End?
If Tennessee wants to be truly competitive they need a star tight end. At the very least they should try and trade up for Kyle Pitts in this year’s draft. Tight End is their biggest asset if they can. A pass-catching tight end would force defending linebackers to sit back instead of crowding the line. It would be the perfect rollout and dump-off should Ryan Tannehill face too much of a rush. Teams can stack the box for both Henry and Tannehill and slow their offense down.
Playmakers on Defense
Whether it’s on the defensive line, the linebackers, or defensive backs there’s not a spot the Titans couldn’t use a few more bruisers. Tennessee isn’t terrible on defense but needs to have an elite defense. The AFC is full of powerhouse offenses and they’ll need a stout defense to keep pace in the postseason.
The Tennessee Titans are absolutely one of the up-and-coming teams. There’s a good chance they could regress if they’re not careful, but it seems they’ll compete for their division for the foreseeable future.
