The Cast of Castle Will Reunite on An Episode Of The Rookie
CASTLE - "XX" - In part two of last week's Season 8 premiere, Beckett's side of her abrupt disappearance is revealed. After receiving a mysterious tip from her past, Beckett is launched into a fight for her life, with a team of mercenaries hot on her trail. While Castle investigates why his wife is on the run, Beckett must figure out who wants her dead, before they can finish the job. It’s been a long time coming for Castle fans. Since the show aired its final episode in 2016, fans have been waiting for some sore of reunion. Well, thanks to CBS and their “Cast From the Past Week”, The Rookie will give loyal fans a chance to see it happen.
According to TV Line, The Rookie star Nathan Fillion will be joined on-set by two of his Castle castmates.
Seamus Dever and Jon Huertas will be guest starring in the October 13 episode, “The Bet,” and ABC released photos offering a look at the former’s character interacting with Fillion’s John Nolan. It looks like the former Detective Ryan may be on the wrong side of the law this time!
This should be interesting as Fillion’s character, Castle appeared to have the best chemistry with Dever and Huertas while on the hit show. There are no details on how the episode will play out but it appears that Fillion’s former castmates will be on the wrong side of the law. This should be fun.
The episode “The Bet” will air October 13th while the Season 2 premiere of The Rookie will beign Sunday, September 29th.
