The Top Coasters At Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
What are the best coasters at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom? The park has a great collection of rides. While the coasters aren’t as prolific as other Six Flags parks, there are some standouts.
This list won’t feature Flash: Vertical Velocity (V2), as it’s being refurbished to the Flash theme. You also won’t see Batman either. When the two coasters open up, I’ll do am updated rankings article. Now, let’s get to the list.
8. Boomerang- While it’s not the most painful coaster at the park, it’s one of the most boring. Your simple Vekoma Boomerang, nothing to write home about. I’ll do painful rides if it’s exciting. This isn’t exciting at all.
7. Kong- This is number 2 on my least favorite coasters. It’s incredibly rough and shaky. I’ve done it multiple times and enjoy the force you get. I’m also a huge fan of inverting coasters. With that being said, don’t do this if you’re uneasy on coasters. You’ll get a bit disoriented.
6.Road Runner Express- The infamous Road Runner coaster. This is a staple at a lot of Six Flags parks. Just your basic kid’s coaster. There’s not a lot to say about it. For the kids, it’s a great ride. Adults won’t find anything
5. Harley Quinn Crazy Coaster- While a lot don’t see this as a coaster, Roller Coaster Database says it is. I don’t mind this one at all. Sure, it can be shaky and rattle a bit, but it’s a fun ride. I suggest you ride in the front or back. Be warned though, this isn’t a very reliable ride.
4. Cobra- Such a charming coaster, Cobra is a great family ride. This is the perfect coaster for young thrill seekers. It’s also one that adults can enjoy too. I’d be lying if I said a big reason for this being so high is the train design.
3. Superman Ultimate Flight- The Sky Rocket II model might be similar everywhere you go that has one, but, it’s an intense coaster. A very short ride, it packs a punch! Sit in the back for the most intense experience.
2.Medusa- Easily the best B&M floorless in America. This beats Rougarou at Cedar Point, and it’s not close. The highlight of this is the Sea Serpent roll. You get whipped around so fiercely. The coaster feels super fast as well and is extremely smooth.
1.Joker- The RMC creating might not be the best they’ve done. In no way does this imply Joker is bad. The zero-g stall is remarkable, props to RMC on that one. There’s a lot of speed to this. Give it time to warm up during the day, you’ll be amazed at how much of a difference those extra few hours make.
