There’s No Chance RMC Gwazi Is Better Than Steel Vengeance
RMC Gwazi is going to break a lot of the records set by Steel Vengeance. Cedar Point, who debuted Steel Vengeance in 2018, won’t have the hybrid coaster records for long, as Busch Gardens Tampa is ready to pounce. Still, there won’t be one smart person in America who doesn’t prefer Steel Vengeance over RMC Gwazi.
It’s not going to happen. There’s no chance anyone claims RMC Gwazi as better than Steel Vengeance. Sure, the new Busch Gardens Tampa coaster might be faster, steeper, and taller than Steel Vengeance, but, a coaster at Cedar Point just has a different effect on coaster enthusiasts.
There are a lot of Cedar Fair and Cedar Point fanboys out there. They’ll never say anything bad about the parks. Although, in this instance, they’ve got a valid argument. Nothing beats a Cedar Point coaster. Steel Vengeance was the biggest hybrid coaster of all-time, and for it being at Cedar Point, it’s just that much more special.
One thing Busch Gardens Tampa didn’t state was the amount of airtime you’ll get on RMC Gwazi. It’s possible Steel Vengeance still owns that record. If so, that’s a huge feather in the cap of Cedar Point. Enthusiasts love getting high instances of airtime.
I say enthusiasts a lot because these are the people who will ultimately make the decision of which coaster is better. The general public has either never been on Steel Vengeance, or don’t know enough about coasters to make a valid argument.
Considering RMC Gwazi is near the Orlando area, a lot of tourists will flock to the park. So you’ll hear quite a bit of, “RMC Gwazi is the best coaster in the world.” If they’ve never been on Steel Vengeance, their opinion is useless. There isn’t a hybrid coaster in the world now or will be, that’ll be better than Steel Vengeance.
Cedar Point can be a bit upset about RMC Gwazi, however, they know Steel Vengeance is the world’s best hybrid. There’s really nothing to worry about. The mystique of being in Cedar Point automatically makes Steel Vengeance a better coaster than RMC Gwazi. It’ll take some time for people to figure that out, but most already know that.
