Wait, Daredevil May Be Returning To Finish What Netflix Started?
The speculation is beginning to build momentum. There is a chance that Disney could bring back the hit Netflix show Daredevil. After the contract with Netflix ended, Netflix canceled all their Marvel shows which included Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, The Punisher, The Defenders, Luke Cage, and the aforementioned Daredevil. But the two years are up and Disney is thinking about bringing the Devils of Hell’s Kitchen back.
But there is a slight issue which will work in Daredevil’s favor.
If you were a fan of the show during its run on Netflix, then you knew about the violence and sometimes strong language. There is no way that Disney can add that to their newly launched Disney+ station. So, with that said, there is a good chance that Daredevil could find its way on their sister station Hulu.

With Marvel’s Runaways canceled, this is the perfect opportunity for Marvel to take advantage of a new time slot. Out of all the shows that Netflix shared with Marvel, Daredevil was by far the best. The storylines were great, the acting even better, and after three seasons, it just ended.
Charlie Cox played a great Daredevil, far better than the one Ben Affleck played on the big-screen version.
In its three seasons on Netflix, the Daredevil story set the stage for possibly Marvel’s best storyline outside of Captain America, Infinity War, and Endgame. The first season was the introduction to the Devil. The second season was the introduction to Elektra and The Punisher, and the third was the introduction to Bullseye and his estranged mother.
But just like that as the show was reaching its plateau, it was canceled. There have been petitions to bring it back, and now that could happen. Where would the show go from here, no one knows but the fact that there’s a chance speaks volumes. While there has not been an official word or even whispers regarding the other shows, the networks understand the drawing power of another season of Daredevil.
What fans are holding their breath for is the casting. There is no need to do a full recast. Keep the remaining cast in place. No need for a reboot either. No one wants to see Daredevil go through what the Spider-Man franchise has gone through.
Even with a slight chance of returning, fans are excited.
