What Do Epcot And Walt Disney World Have In Store For The New Wonders Of Life Pavillion Attractions?

Epcot

I guess we know what happened to Buzzy. The Wonders Of Life Pavillion at Epcot is receiving a makeover. The former home of Cranium Command and other attractions will be turned into a kid-friendly interactive city. We don’t know much about the project, but, bet your bottom dollar there will be Disney intellectual properties (IP).

Disney has become so reliant on IP’s. A lot of pass holders and Disney fanatics are livid about the use of franchise characters. The Guardians of the Galaxy coaster at Epcot has been met with a lot of criticism. Well, I’d venture to say this Interactive City will be more of the same.

Judging by the photo, this is the perfect spot to finally bring in a Wreck-It-Ralph attraction. This was rumored for some time. The new Interactive City looks a lot like the internet in the Wreck-It-Ralph sequel. It would make so much sense to add an attraction or bring the Ralph and Vanellope meet and greet to the Wonders of Life Pavillion.

Looking closely at the concept art and you’ll notice Joy from Inside Out. This could mean, that in addition to Wreck-It-Ralph, we get some sort of Inside Out attraction. This might involve some of the old Body Wars ride. It could also just be to throw fanboys off the scent.

It wouldn’t surprise anyone to see an Inside Out attraction, seeing as that ties in with former attractions at the Wonders of Life Pavillion. I’d say there’s a 95 percent chance Disney puts both a Wreck-It-Ralph meet and greet and Inside Out attraction in the new Interactive City.

Getting off the IP talk, wouldn’t it be something if Walt Disney World brought back a classic attraction? Perhaps Cranium Command to the Interactive City? This is more of a pipe-dream but a rather fun rumor to speculate on.

Buzzy went missing for a while, however, it was all so Disney could protect the animatronic form the upcoming construction. Perhaps, they bring him back for something new? That would be incredible if the plans called for that. Cranium Command was a show that many Disney fans grew up on (including myself), so to bring it back with some update for the new generation would really add to the area.

This new project is expected to be very kid friendly. There’s not much to do at Epcot for the little ones. It’s unclear as to what will be featured in the interactive city, but, knowing Disney, there will be stuff for everyone in the family.

The Interactive City Walt Disney World is creating for Epcot will be jaw-dropping for sure. We are going to get IP’s, there’s no getting around that. It’s something park guests will have to get over. This is a massive project that will be, not only for kids but grown-up’s as well. Thank you, Walt Disney World and Epcot, for finally doing something with the Wonders of Life Pavillion.
