Will the Coronavirus Bring Back Old Ways?
Coronavirus has changed the way we live in almost every aspect of life. From the way, we work to the way we shop for food, and even the events we’re going to forever will be changed. Learning a new normal is becoming a way of life. But once the virus is over, is there a blessing in disguise?
Certainly there’s nothing great about a worldwide pandemic, but everything in life has a silver lining. While the stay at home orders have brought us even further away from our families, made us more reliant on technology, and crippled our economy when it ends that could all change.
People are going to be so bored of being at home that they’ll be going to want to get back out. They’re going to be so burned out by streaming services they’re going to want to get back outside. We’re going to be so sick of staying at home and doing FaceTime and Zoom calls that we’re going to want to be around people in person.

Right now, the entire world is itching to get back to their normal lives. Businesses that have made it through the virus will be flooded by the people who need those services. Barbers and salons will be packed with anyone who hasn’t found their home styles. Restaurants will be on the wait for the people tired of making their own home-cooked meals and just need a break. Parks and events will be flocked to just to break up the stir-crazy of home living. The best part of it all is we’ve all been so isolated from each other that “the more the merrier” might make its comeback.
Technology at times has made life more convenient and easier to manage our time, especially in the time of coronavirus. We’ve got so used to getting things at a moment’s notice, that we’ve opened up more of our free time. Unfortunately, coronavirus has thrust us to using those technologies for basically everything. Just like any other part of our lives, the more we use it the more we get bored with it. The longer we go without, the more we want.
This pandemic has been an absolute nightmare on the way of life, but when it’s all said and done we’ll have learned. We’ll have learned to value the time we spend with each other and not take for granted how freely we can roam in our daily lives. Coronavirus has sucked so far, but when its over, hopefully we all appreciate more.
