WrestleMania: Who should challenge Brock Lesnar?

Royal Rumble

We are a few months away from WrestleMania 36 taking place in Tampa Bay. However, we need to get through the Royal Rumble at the end of the month. On the first Raw of 2020, we saw the return of WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. Now many people thought we would hear who would be facing Brock Lesnar at the Rumble. However, we ended up finding out that Brock Lesnar will be entering the 2020 Royal Rumble at #1.

As of this writing, he won’t be putting the title on the line. I doubt that will end up happening, but you never know. The gist is that this Rumble will be used as a way to determine who faces Brock Lesnar. With no set opponent, the possibilities are endless to who it could be. It seems that the plan is that either someone from NXT or Smackdown will be the one to take on Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. This was noted by Wrestle Votes.

The list of who could face Brock Lesnar is endless. Let’s start off with the Smackdown roster. The only names that come to mind are The Fiend (Bray Wyatt) or Roman Reigns. I can’t see WWE going with another Brock Lesnar/Roman Reigns match. The Fiend would be interesting but would need to be done if they were going to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal title. I believe that NXT has many more viable options of superstars who could face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.

Some of the names that come to mind from NXT are Keith Lee, Dominik Dijakovic, or Matt Riddle. Out of those three, Matt Riddle would be the least likely. Bull Ray of Busted Open made the point that Matt Riddle should face Goldberg. I’m hoping that Brock Lesnar is willing to put over a new star. It would be perfect for it to be an NXT superstar.

You can make a star and that’s what WrestleMania is all about.
