WWE: Bobby Fish’s injury has changed plans at NXT Takeover

It seems that another injury will end up altering the plans in the WWE. Reports surfaced yesterday that Bobby Fish of the Undisputed Era had successful surgery to repair a tear in both his MCL and ACL. He ended up suffering the injury at an NXT Live event in Indianapolis. It happened during a title defense against the team known as Heavy Machinery.

It is expected that Bobby Fish will be out of action for four to six months. If he stays on track than Bobby Fish should return between anytime between July and September. With him being out of action, the WWE plans for the tag team match at Takeover have changed. It was noted at the most recent taping of NXT that the tag team match at Takeover will be a triple threat match. The three teams will be Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly, Authors of Pain, and the team of Rodrick Strong and Pete Dunne. NXT General Manager William Regal also made it clear, the winner of the match will also win the Dusty Rhodes Classic and become the new NXT Tag Team Champions.

It is worth noting that Adam Cole will end up playing double duty that night. First, they are putting him into the tag title match. He will also be in the six-man ladder match to crown the first NXT North American Champion. The competitors for that match are Killian Dain, Lars Sullivan, Velveteen Dream, EC3, and Ricochet.

Who can I see winning this match? There is something telling me that Authors of Pain or the team of Strong and Dunne. Thus, I am sensing it more that Authors of Pain will win it. Hence, leading to a feud with War Machine. Rumors have been flying for some time that the two teams will clash before Authors of Pain get the call-up.
