WWE: Braun Strowman is becoming the Big Show 2.0
Braun Strowman has been in the WWE for a couple of years. He made his debut while Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt were feuding. He came up as the black sheep of the Wyatt Family. We wouldn’t see him become a superstar when the brand split was put in 2016. With how he looked and how WWE had been pushing him, everyone thought he was going to become one of the top stars. However, that would not be the case.
Since Strowman has been a singles star, he held the Raw Tag team titles and brief run with the IC belt. When you look at his Raw tag team run, there’s nothing memorable at all. He won with a ten-year-old kid from the audience. I think he only held the belt for a few more days before they had him relinquish the title. It leads to the Bar taking on the team of Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt at one of the Saudia Arabia shows. The other title that he won took place on an episode of Smackdown. He only would end up holding the belt until Elimination Chamber when we lost to Sami Zayn. If it was a one on one match, I wouldn’t have a problem. But they made it look like a joke as it was Zayn, Cesaro, and Nakamura all taking on Strowman.
More WWE: The Top Guy Should Be Braun Strowman
Strowman is becoming the modern-day Big Show. A large wrestler that is a joke. I don’t blame Braun Strowman at all because he can only do what he can do in the ring. He has no credibility and can not be taken seriously at all. I blame WWE creative for destroying yet another person who should be apart of the future. Now he is the joke of the future.
It will be interesting to see what WWE does with Strowman in 2020 and beyond.
