WWE: Candice LeRae has officially signed

The WWE has been busy on Tuesday.They have announced that Ricochet and War Machine had officially signed with the company. Well, you can now add someone else to that list. The WWE has officially announced the signing of Candice LeRae. She has had a few matches in NXT already and was involved in the first Mae Young Classic.

LeRae worked the Independent scene for such promotions as Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) and Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW). She also happens to be a PWG World Tag Team champion with Joey Ryan. She was trained by current WWE Cruiserweight TJ Perkins.

Over her career, she has also had stints in Shimmer, TNA, and Ring of Honor. Unlike Ricochet and War Machine, Candice LeRae has already appeared on WWE TV.

Her addition to the women’s division of WWE is great. The women of WWE have raised the bar over the last few years and ‘s inclusion will certainly enhance the brand further.

How would Candice LeRae get booked? 

For starters, I would have her start off in NXT. The main roster has enough women that she would get lost in the shuffle. By having her start in NXT, the WWE can help build her up. It would be tough to book her as heel because she is so over as many people know her. I would start her off as a babyface for the early days. If Shanya Blazer does defeat Ember Moon for the Women’s title in Philadelphia, I would have Candice LeRae be next in line.

You don’t have a baby face in the women’s division of NXT that would be worthy of the title. Peyton Royce is a heel and Nikki Cross has not been pushed to that level.

Candice LeRae is also married to Johnny Gargano.
