WWE: What will probably happen at the RAW 25th Anniversary Show
On Monday Night, the WWE will be in two locations. The wrestlers who are on the road daily will be at the Barclay’s Center. The other location where the WWE will be is the Manhattan Center. This will be to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of RAW. In case you don’t know, the Manhattan Center was where RAW began in 1993. Reports have come out saying that they are planning to make it look almost identical to the when it was in 1993. I don’t suspect there to be many matches as the only one being advertised as of now is the Miz going up against Roman Reigns for the Intercontinental title. Hence, I see more segments and more nostalgic happening.
There will be plenty of legends present for this occasion. They include Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Chris Jericho, D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels and Triple H), Torrie Wilson, Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Jacqueline, The Dudley Boyz ( Bubba Raw and Devon), Christian, Ric Flair, Maria Kanellis, Scott Hall, Nikki and Brie Bella, The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn), Eric Bischoff, Terri Runnels, JBL, Ron Simmons, Kelly Kelly, The Godfather, The Brooklyn Brawler, Michelle McCool, Brother Love, The Boogeyman, Teddy Long, Ted DiBiase, John Laurinaitis, Harvey Wippleman, Lilan Garcia, Jonathan Coachman, MVP, William Regal, and Howard Finkel. The list I presented is what the WWE website is promoting. It is worth mentioning that Kevin Nash and Bret Hart were on the card. However, they needed to cancel for personal reasons.
[JonBlayneAds]Many have rumored for some time that the WWE will use this stage to set up a possible fight between Undertaker and John Cena at WrestleMania 34. Also, I suspect that the Revival will end up being made to look like fools to many of the legendary tag teams set to be there. Additionally, with the women having their first Royal Rumble could we get some the legends making teases. It is worth noting that there are going to be some legends at Barclay’s Center. One that is being mentioned is Scott Hall. After all, he was a guest on X-Pac’s podcast recently and said that the WWE texted him to bring his ring gear to Brooklyn. Thus, it expects to be a great night.
There will be a one-hour pre-show on the network that will start at 7 pm est. The show itself will be the usual 8 to 11:05 time slot. The WWE did release the intro that they will be using for the start of the show. This is from their official YouTube page:
