WWE: A Top 10 Faction List That Makes Sense
The WWE released their top ten factions list a few days back. It garnered a ton of discussion within the wrestling community because of who the WWE mentioned.
In case you didn’t see it, here is the WWE’s top ten factions list:
WWE Faction List Jon’s Faction List
10- Undisputed Era Freebirds
9-Freebirds Dangerous Alliance
8- Nexus Triple Threat
7- Hart Foundation Hart Foundation
6- New Day The Shield
5- Evolution Evolution
4- NWO Nation of Domination
3- DX DX
2- Four Horseman NWO
1-The Shield Four Horseman
This cause a lot of problems for a few people. For starters, they forgot a ton of teams. I know it was only the top ten and they needed to be picky. Undisputed Era and Nexus shouldn’t be on the list. I feel New Day is a tag team. Some of the more notable names not mentioned are The Corporation, Nation of Domination, Triple Threat, and others. I talked about this list a few days ago, but I never presented my factions list. It seems that everyone is doing that and I figured to hop in on the action.
As you can see in my list, Undisputed Era and Nexus are not on there. Let’s talk about Undisputed Era first. The original incarnation of Adam Cole, Kyle O’ Reilly, and Bobby Fish have been on NXT TV for a little bit over a year. Roderick Strong joined UE in April. Yes, I am aware that Adam Cole held the NXT North American title and Kyle O’ Reilly and Roderick Strong/Bobby Fish are 2x NXT tag champions. I don’t feel they have changed the landscape of NXT.
I don’t feel Nexus deserves to be on the list because the WWE booking team never tapped into the full capability.
Since I took out New Day, Undisputed Era, and Nexus; I needed to add three new factions. So I decided to add the Dangerous Alliance, Triple Threat, and Nation of Domination. In one way or another, all three of these factions changed the landscape of professional wrestling as we know it. Because of the Dangerous Alliance and Nation of Domination, we would see the rise of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock.
