WWE: Five Impact Wrestlers Who Should Appear if Reports Are True

PWinsider’s Mike Johnson reports that TNA officials had a meeting with WWE officials in Stamford, CT. It was meant to be a general discussion on how the two companies could possibly have a working relationship in the future. There was no mention of the sale of Impact Wrestling or their tape library.

This news got me thinking of who from TNA would I like to see appear on WWE programing in one way or another. I have complied the list and now I will present my five TNA superstars I would like to see on WWE through this possible working relationship.

FIVE WRESTLERS WHO WOULD MAKE AN IMPACT IN WWE

1. Sami Callahan

He had spent some time in NXT as Solomon Crowe, but it went nowhere. Since he left the WWE, he has been able to reinvent himself and become one of the biggest stars on the independent scene. A lot of his reinvention has been since he signed with Impact Wrestling. It would be great to see him go up against guys like Dean Ambrose, Harper, or Ciampa in NXT.

2. Brian Cage

He is a monster who can move like a cruiserweight. Cage has turned into something special since he has been in Impact. He is known as the machine on the independent scene. It would neat to see the Machine take on the Monster in Braun Strowman or Lars Sullivan of NXT.

3. Matt Sydal

When he was in WWE, he was Evan Bourne. He won various titles and did very well for himself. However, injuries would end up being his downfall. He would end up signing with Impact and started using the ring name of Matt Sydal. I would love to see him get added to the cruiserweight division and add some value.

4. Austin Aries

When Austin Aries was initially in WWE, he would be pigeonholed into 205 Live and never impacted the main roster. Since he went back to Impact Wrestling, he would turn heel and become one of the company’s best. Being fantastic on the microphone is the main factor. I could see something where would get Austin Aries/Killer Kross/Moose take on the Club.

5. Tessa Blanchard

When you get the chance to add to a loaded woman division, Tessa is one of them. She is someone who could work tremendously with people like Charlotte, Bayley, Naomi, or whoever and still have a great match. It doesn’t hurt that she is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Tully Blanchard.
