WWE: How do you follow up with the ending of Hell in a Cell on Raw?
Last night, the WWE had their annual Hell in the Cell event. The main event of the card saw Seth Rollins defend the Universal title against the Fiend. In an odd turn, the match was stopped due to the ref calling the match. You ended up killing a ton of momentum with the Fiend. In addition, it doesn’t make your Universal champion look good at all. However, now that Hell in the Cell is over, the WWE needs to figure out a way to address this problem on tonight’s Raw that makes sense.
For starters, I wouldn’t have Seth Rollins open the show. I would have Dio Maddin or Jerry The King Lawler be in the ring. I would have Vic Joseph be behind the announcing table and say something to the extent that , ” After what happened to close out Hell in the Cell, we have Dio Maddin/ Jerry in the ring with exclusive interview with the ref.” Then we see the camera pan to the ring and we see the ref and Dio Maddin or Jerry the King Lawler in the ring. After the crowd continues to boo him, he gets asked about what happened last night that made him make this move.
You can have the ref say something to the extent of , ” Bray Wyatt is confused now and deep down, he is still a man. I was doing what I felt was the right move.” After he says that, the arena starts to go black and out comes the Fiend. I’d have the Fiend attack the ref. You should make the Fiend more unpredictable than he was before last night. Then you can have a Fire Fly Fun House and Bray challenges Seth for the belt again as either the main event of at Crown Jewel.
Let us know in the comments below how did you feel about the Fiend/ Rollins match ended?
