WWE: If I were Lacey Evans, I would ask to go back to NXT

Lacey Evans has been on the main roster since the Raw after WrestleMania. Her first feud was Raw Women’s champion Becky Lynch. This ended after her and King Corbin lost to Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules in a mixed gender all titles on the line match. Then she floated around for a bit and then got into a feud with Natayla. After we saw at Hell in the Cell and on Raw, Lacey Evans lost both of those matches.

By going this route, you have essentially killed any credibility she had. If I were booking her character, I would have kept her in NXT for a bit longer. I feel that she was called up to the main roster way too early. If the plan was too call her up when she was, there should have been a different way she went. I would have had come out of the gate and work with people like Dana Brooke, Tamina, and Natayla. They may not be the top of the women’s division, but they will give Lacey Evans some credibility. By having her go after Becky Lynch right after WrestleMania, you are giving her zero room for error.

As far as what to do with her now, there’s only one logical way. Somehow get Triple H to send you back to NXT. You need to give her time to hone her craft. Also, with who is in NXT you could easily help Lacey Evans improve. You could have her work with women like Mia Yim, Candice LeRae, and others. Eventually you could have her go for the NXT Women’s title, but you need her to get better. I’m not blaming Lacey Evans herself, all I am saying is creative is one of the biggest reasons why she has fallen downhill on Raw.
