WWE: Keith Lee and Deonna Purrazzo are NXT bound

The WWE is always bringing in new talent into NXT. In 2018, we have seen the likes of War Machine (War Raiders in NXT), Ricochet, EC3, and Candice LeRae all make their way to NXT. There are reports now circulating about two more top indie wrestlers joining the Performance Center this summer. It was a report a few weeks back that Keith Lee signed with the WWE and expects to begin soon. There are rumblings that he could make his debut at Takeover Chicago. Reports surfaced Thursday that the WWE signed Deonna Purrazzo to a developmental contract. She is also expected to report to the Performance Center soon.

The addition of both talents does wonders for the roster. Keith Lee is a 13 – year wrestler that has had stops in Ring of Honor, Evolve, All American Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. In addition, he is a one-time PWG World Champion and a one-time WWN Champion. What makes Lee different from a lot of other wrestlers is he can move quickly and do moves you tend not to see someone at his size. He is billed in at 332 pounds, but he moves like someone who is a lot smaller. The addition of him just adds to the list of dream matches or feuds. You could have him feud with Ricochet, Adam Cole, and Lio Rush are just some examples of who you could have him feud with.

On the other hand, Deonna Purrazzo comes into the WWE with a rather nice resume. She has had stops in Impact Wrestling and Ring of Honor. In addition, she has appeared in several independent promotions. Where Keith Lee has been around for over a decade, Deonna has only been around for five years. However, in those few years, she has made a major name for herself. Due to how Triple H is booking the NXT Woman’s division lately, I could see her getting the rocket right to the top.

It will be interesting to see the NXT landscape change. Especially with the additions of Keith Lee and Deonna Purrazzo join the fold.
