WWE: Killer Kross should be the top heel of NXT
As we heard on WWE Backstage, Ryan Satin confirmed that the WWE has signed both Timothy Thatcher and Killer Kross. The feeling is that Timothy Thatcher will probably end up in NXT UK. Now Killer Kross is in a much different situation. Killer Kross has been in the professional wrestling landscape for a number of years and could be used on either Raw, Smackdown, or NXT. If I were Triple H, I would have him join NXT before going to the main roster.
It seems like NXT has more faces than heels with guys like Johnny Gargano, Keith Lee, and a few others. It would be perfect to have him become the top heel of NXT. As of this writing, the top heels of NXT are Adam Cole and mainly Finn Balor. I would have him get similar heat like Ciampa got when he turned on Gargano. If I were booking his debut, I would have it occur at NXT Takeover Portland. Adam Cole and Tommaso Ciampa are set to have a match for the NXT title. After the match, I would have the arena blackout. Then we see the camera pan to the entrance and we just see a red x on the screen. We see this for a couple of weeks and no one knows what it means. Then a few weeks before WrestleMania, we finally get the debut.
Due to how old Killer Kross is, he won’t be in NXT for that long. I see him being in NXT because the WWE likes to have stars go through the PC to mold them. If he joins NXT in March, I could see him being apart of the 2021 Royal Rumble and be a call up to the main roster after WrestleMania 37. The earliest is after the 2021 Royal Rumble,
