WWE Money in the Bank: The perfect place to turn Bobby Roode a heel

It seems that the case of Bobby Roode on the main roster is no different from others who made the jump to the WWE. While Bobby Roode was in NXT, he would become one of the top heels on the brand. His Glorious theme would fit him perfectly as he would come off cocky and arrogant. He would eventually get the call up to the main roster in 2018 and it hasn’t been anything special. During his main roster run, he hasn’t done much other than have a brief run with the US title. One of the reasons for this sudden decline is that he is a babyface.

There are some superstars who can be a babyface and it works for them. Some of them would include Daniel Bryan, Johnny Gargano, and John Cena. With his gimmick being Glorious, being a heel fits him a lot better. He is still over with the WWE crowd because of what he has done, but it would be better if he was a heel. He should be coming down to the ring and cutting promos where he is telling the fans how he is much better than they are. In addition, the amount of money or number of women he gets should also be mentioned. In essence, he should come off an arrogant prick.

If I were the WWE, I would pull the trigger on a Bobby Roode heel turn at Money in the Bank. While I don’t see him winning the briefcase, you can have him turn heel. If not at Money in the Bank, then at the RAW the next night. You can look at another former NXT champion who turned heel and it helped his career. Shinsuke Nakamura is someone like Roode who is a babyface and comes off better as a heel.

When the WWE does turn him heel, I would have it be a mixture of the Miz and Ric Flair. If you recall when the Miz was on his latest IC run, he came off like a total prick. I’d have Roode do the same thing. In regards to Ric Flair, you can have Roode come into the arena with a limo, top of the lines suits and other things that come off rich.
