WWE: Please don't screw up the Otis/Mandy Rose love story

It seems that WWE gets criticized for their booking lately. We very rarely see the WWE have the right booking going. The most recent story told by WWE wasn’t even in the WWE. It was NXT with Johnny Gargano and Tomaso Ciampa. When we look at the main roster, the story line that pops into mind as being good was the rise of Daniel Bryan to the payoff of winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 30. It seems we could be seeing the next story that the WWE does right and it’s on Smackdown.

Heavy Machinery has been in the WWE for some time. Otis is one of the wrestlers in this team and the one that many people view as being a star. He has had a soft spot for Mandy Rose. It seems that one of the early 2020 story lines is a love angle between Otis and Mandy Rose. When you look at the story lines that have been great are that they are relatable. The Otis/Mandy Rose love angle has a ton of relatable components. Many guys have that crush that they know is out of their league and still decide to pursue it. It seems now that Mandy Rose may have a soft spot for Otis. As we saw on the Christmas themed Smackdown, Mandy Rose gave Otis both a kiss and a ham.

While I have high expectations for this story, I have one major fear behind it. WWE has been known to screw up these story lines and they end up destroying them. An example of this is the debut of NEXUS. That faction had a ton of potential and for whatever reason it never worked out. I don’t want that to happen to Mandy Rose and Otis. In addition, Mandy and Sonya Devile seem to be on the way to breakup. You can easily use the Otis angle in that breakup as well.

WWE, if your reading this, PLEASE DON’T SCREW THIS STORY UP.
