WWE: The Revival should of been brought up to Smackdown
Wrestlemania has come and gone. It has been known for a while that the RAW after Wrestlemania is one of the best shows of the year. This is because we typically will see stars debut or make their returns. We saw the returns of Emma and Finn Balor, the debut of the Revival, and the return of Kurt Angle as the new RAW General Manager.
While they were all big moments from RAW, I have a slight problem with the Revival being brought up to RAW. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder are two very talented wrestlers who have a bit of old-school wrestling in them. However, I feel they should have been brought up to Smackdown whose tag team division is a bit weak compared to RAW’s Tag division. In the RAW Tag division, you have Enzo and Big Cass, Sheamus and Cesaro, New Day,The Hardy Boyz, The Club, and the Revival.
Unless WWE has bigger plans for Dawson and Wilder, I see them getting lost in the shuffle. There have been rumblings of the Revival joining the new heel stable that will consist of Triple H, Samoa Joe, and Kevin Owens. If that happens to be the case, then I am all for it. However, if they don’t put them with Hunter, Owens, and Joe; then I could see them not getting a major push. I understand that the WWE wants to make the RAW brand the superior brand, but since the brand split you can say that Smackdown has been the better brand.
On the other side, Smackdown’s Tag team division is American Alpha and the Usos as the top of the class. Many of the other tag teams on Smackdown have not been pushed correctly and are not viable options. My thinking was to have the Revival come to Smackdown and they would more than likely get push right to the top of the card.
