WWE Rumors: Bobby Lashley to sign when his TNA contract is up

Since TNA has had problems and not being able to re-sign wrestlers, many of them have bolted to the WWE. In the last few years, we have seen guys like Drew Galloway, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, and others leave after their contract expired. It was rather recently that the WWE had signed Rockstar Spud. Now it seems that there is a good chance for someone else to join the WWE.

According to the Wrestling Observer, there is now a good chance that Vince McMahon will sign Bobby Lashley once his contract is up with TNA. Bobby Lashley has been wrestling since 1999. From 1999 to 2004, he would work the independent scene. He ended up signing with the WWE in 2004. He would make his televised WWE debut in 2005. It would happen that he was apart of the WWE’s revival of ECW in 2006. After getting injured by Mr. Kennedy at the 2008 Great American Bash, Lashley ended up getting released.

Bobby Lashley would end up going back to the independent scene for a few years. He would end up appearing in 2009 for TNA before getting released one year later. He would end up going back to the independent scene until 2014. Lashley would end up rejoining TNA in 2014. From then, he would end up capturing the brand’s top belt several times. This would also include a run with the King of the Mountain title. However, many know that several top TNA talent contracts will be expiring rather soon. So the feeling is that many of them will end up heading over to the WWE.

The addition of Lashley would be great. I could see him feuding with guys like Brock Lesnar, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, or Braun Strowman. The addition of Lashley would do great for either brand. Due to the fact that he was already with the WWE, he would probably have a short NXT run.

This is just a rumor and you should take it with a grain of salt.
