WWE Rumors: Candice LeRae could be on her way

It seems that the WWE is just raising the bar for the women’s division between NXT, RAW, and Smackdown.

There have been a lot of women who have been added over the last several years. The feeling after the Mae Young Classic was that more would end up joining the WWE. A few weeks ago, we saw Shayna Bazler make her debut. It was also reported that she will be making her in-ring debut next week. However, there may be another one from the Mae Young Classic to join the WWE.

According to several wrestling sites, Candice LeRae could come to the WWE. She appeared in WWE several times in singles matches. While she was on the independent scene, she would engage battles with the likes of Adam Cole, Kevin Steen, and the Young Bucks. Some of her matches were not the typical women matches that you see in the WWE. She has toyed around the independents for some time, but it maybe wrapping up soon.

Candice LeRae addition will be great if she joins its circuit of events. It will be interesting to see where exactly she ends up. What we have seen typically is that when the WWE brings in an outsider, they go through NXT to get used to how the WWE does things. We saw that when guys like Nakamura, Samoa Joe, and Bobby Roode all made their debuts. Candice LaRae would be a great in-ring competitor and will help the women of NXT.

However, in the case that she goes right to RAW or Smackdown, the possible feuds are endless. She could feud with Asuka, Paige, Sasha Banks, Charlotte, and others. She will raise the bar for whatever division she happens to be in. It is also worth noting that she is married to current NXT superstar and number one contender, Johnny Gargano.

This is a rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt until something is officially said by the wrestling federation.
