WWE Rumors: Could John Cena be headed for Blue’s Clues?

We seem to be seeing a lot of reboots and revivals of shows being done. At the end of March, Rosanne is coming back with new episodes. There could now be another famous 1990’s show that could be on the horizon to coming back. According to Entertainment Weekly, Nickelodeon has announced that they will be bringing back the famous children show, Blue’s Clues. The filming for the new show is to start this summer. Could John Cena have a role?

The original show ran from 1996 to 2006. This show would end up winning an Emmy and was one of the only shows in both animation and live action in the same show. It would end up chronicling the daily life of an animated dog who would go by the name of Blue. He would leave clues around the house and it was up to the host and the audience to figure out what Blue wanted to happen.
As far as who will host it, there has been a rumor that it could be John Cena. There was a picture going around where we see John Cena dressed up like Steve. If you grew up with the show, then you knew who John Cena was dressed as.

Personally, I see John Cena as someone who fits that role. He is very popular with the kids. In addition, he has come off being for the kids. This is one of the reasons why he has been one of the top-selling wrestlers for the WWE in the last 15 years. He is hosting the Kid Choice Awards. Also, he will be the voice of the villain in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Another reason why I suspect that it is John Cena is for what his post WrestleMania schedule looks like. In fact, as of yesterday, WWE did not show Cena on the promotional posters for SummerSlam or Survivor Series. Finally, filming for the Blue’s Clues reboot begins this summer.
