WWE Rumors: Could Killer Kross make his debut at WrestleMania 36?
Now that Killer Kross was released by Impact Wrestling a few weeks ago and with Marty Scrull resigning with Ring of Honor, Killer Kross is now the biggest free agent in the wrestling world. However, it seems that he won’t be a free agent that long. There have been many rumors that have him signing with the WWE. This seems very likely to happen after the WWE did sign Killer Kross’ Girlfriend, Scarlett Bordeaux.
Now if he does sign with the WWE, there’s this feeling that he will make his debut on the main roster and not do anytime in NXT. In recent memory, we last saw the WWE do this when they signed the group of AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, and Nakamura. When those guys came to the WWE, we saw AJ Styles debut at the Royal Rumble, Gallows and Anderson debuted on an episode of Raw, and Nakamura debuted on NXT. If you get to debut right on the main roster and not going through NXT, then the company must have major plans for you.
It’s worth noting that several WWE legends have gotten their start at WrestleMania. While their match in their debut wasn’t good, they ended up becoming some of the top guys in this industry. If the WWE wants to have Kross debut at WrestleMania, they can’t screw it up. You can’t have him have a match at ‘Mania and then become one of the chasers for the 24/7 belt.
If I were booking it, I would have Kross become the top heels. WWE has a lot of babyfaces and some “heels.” As we talked about a few weeks ago in our Mount Rushmore of Modern Heels. Many of the top heels in wrestling right now are in promotions outside of the WWE. Building up Kross as being the top heel could give them their own MJF or Jericho.
