WWE Rumors: Could the Elite be WWE Bound?

There’s now a chance that we could be seeing the Elite make its way to the WWE. According to the Wrestling Observer, Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, Hangman Adam Page, and the Young Bucks plan to stick together during the upcoming contract talks. It seems that coming to the WWE is an option that they could be looking into. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to people as these wrestlers have been on the WWE radar for some time. Also, if they were to sign with the WWE, it would hurt the ROH/NJPW show at Madison Square Garden in April of 2019.

BOOKING THE ELITE IN WWE

Also, the likelihood of All In 2 will go down significantly if they sign with the WWE. It would be interesting to see what would happen if they were to sign. For starters, I would continue to stick them together, but be looked at as singles guys. For instance, Hangman Page and the Young Bucks should be more prominent on Smackdown. As we saw at All In, Adam Page is an excellent in-ring worker and can put on good matches. I feel he has been more looked at as a bodyguard type since he has been in the Bullet Club. The Young Bucks would add a new ripple to the tag team division. We could eventually get matches with the New Day, Usos, and the Good Brothers. I would also have Kenny Omega be on Smackdown as well.

If I were booking Cody, I would keep him on Raw for the time being. I would have all five guys be on both shows just to show how dominant they are. However,  I would keep The Young Bucks, Adam Page, and Kenny Omega on Smackdown because the brand can use the star power. They would get lost in the shuffle on Raw. I would also suspect that the Young Bucks’ YouTube show, “Being the Elite” would end up becoming part of the WWE YouTube page and possible the WWE Network.

This is only a rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt.
