WWE Rumors: Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins get a shot at the tag titles at Summerslam
As we saw on this past episode of RAW, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins work well together. While it seems like Ambrose still won’t completely forget what Rollins did to him and Reigns three years ago, it looks like WWE is trying to push the storyline to that point. However, after the former Shield brothers defeated Miz and the Miztourage in a convincing matter, what happens now. While it seems that Miz is set to interview Jason Jordan next week and that will probably start a feud between them, what do you do with Rollins and Ambrose.
According to several wrestling outlets, the WWE could be planning on doing Sheamus and Cesaro vs. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins for the RAW Tag Titles at Summerslam. Personally, I like this idea. I figure there are people who figure that the Revival should be in the tag title picture, they will probably have other plans Summerslam weekend. I suspect those plans will involved the Club and the Hardy Boyz. If those three teams are in some sort of triple threat tag match, you need something for Sheamus and Cesaro to do. Also due to there being no face teams after the Hardys, the WWE doesn’t have another option.
I could see Ambrose and Rollins winning the belt, but not for a long time. It has been reported for some time that the WWE was planning on rekindling the Ambrose and Rollins feud from a few year years back. However, the roles would be reversed. Ambrose would be the heel and Rollins would face. If the WWE does go this route, they could use the tag titles as a way to show that there are still problems between them. I remember that feud and I loved how they were able to do so well. Since the roles would be reversed, one could only imagine how this turns out.
