WWE Rumors: Plans for the Men’s Money in the Bank match
The WWE Universe is a few weeks away from Money in the Bank happening. The rumors have been circulating to who might be winning the Money in the Bank match for the men’s side. According to several rumors floating around, there has been talk behind the scenes at the WWE to have the Miz get the briefcase and become a two-time Money in the Bank holder. These are also the same rumors saying that AJ Styles probably will retain his title over Shinsuke Nakamura.
Apparently, the plan would be for the Miz to cash in on AJ Styles and become the WWE Champion. These plans are also setting up the Miz’s first feud for the WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan. Personally, I wouldn’t mind a feud between the Miz and Daniel Bryan. If you recall, these two “feuded” for a bit after the Miz was drafted to Smackdown Live during the brand split and Daniel Bryan was the General Manager. The whole feud was basically around the fact that Daniel Bryan wanted to the IC title on Smackdown, but not the Miz. They never actually had a match because Daniel Bryan was “retired.”
It seems that the Miz has really got better in his overall character. Especially over the last couple of years. Thus, him being the top guy wouldn’t be terrible. WWE Universe knows that a heel champion is better than the face champion in some cases. The Miz has the ability to talk people into a building and having him feud with Daniel Bryan would make great TV. I would love to see something between the Miz and Daniel Bryan happen around SummerSlam. I figure that would be the better spot because it isn’t that far into the future. Although, it’s far enough that it gives the WWE time to let a feud built up.
