WWE Rumors: WrestleMania 35 the Last Ride for the Undertaker?
The week leading into WrestleMania is a special time for the wrestling world. You tend to get the smaller promotions putting on their biggest shows. The host city tends to become very crowded with wrestling fans from around the country and world. For WrestleMania 35, it will be at MetLife Stadium. This is the first time WWE will be hosting WrestleMania at MetLife Stadium since WrestleMania 29 when we saw The Rock take on John Cena.
One of the superstars who will probably have a match at the WWE “Superbowl” is the Undertaker. Over the years, the Undertaker and WrestleMania have become like peanut butter and jelly. You can’t talk about one without the other. It seems that WrestleMania 35 will be a major one for the Undertaker. It seems that WrestleMania 35 will be the last WrestleMania for him. The reports are indicating that he will be inducted into the Hall of Fame the night before. However, as of now, Batista and Bam Bam Bigelow are rumored to be joining him.
If you recall, the feeling was that he was done after WrestleMania 33. This was after he left the Undertaker wardrobe in the ring. However, he would end up returning to the ring at WrestleMania 34 to take on John Cena. This is the first time that the WWE Hall of Fame is being mentioned with him on various sites. If WrestleMania 35 is truly the last ride for the Undertaker, then you should have only one person be his opponent.
The idea was presented on Busted Open on SiriusXM when host Dave LaGreca made the point that the Undertaker should take on Shawn Michaels. Indeed, this would be fitting as it was Undertaker who ended up retiring Shawn Michaels.
While it wouldn’t be a match of the night, it would be memorable to see Shawn Michaels take on Undertaker one last time. This is just a rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt.
