WWE: Shayna Baszler Should Be the One to Dethrone Becky Lynch

This Sunday, the WWE will be holding the annual Elimination Chamber PPV. One of the Elimination Chamber matches will determine who will be facing Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at WrestleMania. In the match, we will see Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sara Logan, Natayla, Shayna Baszler, and Asuka. Right off the back, there are three names who probably won’t win. I highly doubt Sara Logan, Liv Morgan, or Ruby Riott will win the match. I thought this because of how they have been booked. This leaves Asuka, Natalya, and Shayna Baszler left.

We have already seen Natalya and Asuka take on Becky Lynch. Out of all the women in the match, Shayna Baszler is the only one who hasn’t been in a singles match with Lynch. If you have been watching Raw in the last couple of weeks, they have been putting Lynch and Baszler a lot on TV. The fact that they even need to do this match is shocking. When it comes to this match, I would book Bazler like the Brock Lesnar of the women’s division. In addition, I would use her MMA background a lot in this match.

As far as why I would certainly have Baszler be the one to dethrone Lynch is not because of Becky Lynch, the wrestler. When you look at the simplicity of it, it is because of creative. At this time last year, Becky Lynch was a hot commidity when it came to the women’s division of the WWE. Since she won the title at WrestleMania 35, her gimmick of “The Man” has become stale. What worked for Becky heading into last years WrestleMania was her being the underdog. Now she isn’t and it seems WWE creative can’t book her properly.

In addition, Shayna Baszler would be somone fresh and new for the women’s division. I have nothing against Becky Lynch at all, I just feel her run is becoming stale.
