WWE: What are they doing with Aleister Black?

Aleister Black has been on the “main roster” since February of 2019. He was brought up and for a few months teamed with Ricochet. I thought they were actually going to do something with them and they ended up splitting them up after the WWE Draft. Then they have not done anything memorable with him. Then we got him into a program with Buddy Murphy. The three matches they had were great, but Black ended up winning the feud in a strong matter.

On the most recent episode of Raw, we saw Black have another week of taking on local talent. When Black first came up, that made perfect sense. However, most wrestling fans know who she is and the WWE doesn’t need to continue to build him up. If I were booking him, I would have him go up against actual competition. I would start him with going into a feud with Almas for the US title. Both superstars have been shown to put on great matches. Another option is to continue the feud with Buddy Murphy. Like I mentioned beforehand, the chemistry those guys had was great.

If he were to work with someone on Smackdown, then Nakamura would be my choice. Black and Nakamura both are two of the strongest hitters in the WWE. Here’s a crazy idea, but it could work. Why not bring Black back to NXT, look at what’s it’s done for Finn Balor. I don’t care what they do with him, but I want them to start using him in an actual feud. It’s not far fetched to say but Black is one of the future guys for the WWE. Eventually, you won’t have some of the top guys around in the future. You’re going to need to start building some of those guys up now.
