WWE: What three teams should accept the Viking Raiders challenge at TLC?
The WWE is set to hold TLC this Sunday. As of this writing, we have seven confirmed matches. We will see some of the titles defended (not the WWE or Universal title). One of the title matches is one I want to look at because it’s being presented differently. The Viking Raiders are going to be defending the Raw Tag titles on the show. However, there’s a catch, they didn’t announce an opponent. As we saw on the latest episode of Backstage, the Viking Raiders will be issuing an open challenge to any team. While we don’t know who that may be, I thought it would be cool to see if we can guess.
Here are three possible teams to accept the Viking Raiders Open Challenge this Sunday
1- The O.C. (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson)- It seemed like these guys were the leader of the tag team on Raw. Gallows and Anderson were the Raw tag team champions back in early 2017 when they defeated the Bar. The first reign would last 63 days. The second reign came in July of 2019 when they were in a triple threat match on an episode of Raw. As we saw at Crown Jewel a few months ago, they were the greatest tag team battle royal to be declared the best tag team in the world. A feud between these two teams was already teased and would be different. It would be nice to see the WWE do something with them for a run.
2- Street Profits- Monetz Ford and Dawkins were at once NXT tag team champions. However, it seems that the WWE hasn’t done much with them since they were getting called to the main roster. Ford and Dawkins are talented guys and its not good on how WWE is using them. If Ford and Dawkins are being looked at as the future of the tag team division, you can start that this Sunday.
3- The Usos- We have not seen Jimmy or Jey Uso on TV for a long time. However, you can not talk about the tag team division and not bring them up. Besides the New Day, the Usos are one of the most successful tag teams in recent memory. The tag team division needs the Usos as they are the standard barrier.
Let us know who you think we will see accept the open challenge for the Viking Raiders.
