WWE: Who is Roman Reigns feuding with coming off of the draft

Now that the 2019 draft is behind us, both Raw and Smackdown need to be introducing their superstars. This move is more important for Smackdown after we have seen the ratings drop since the debut episode. It’s time for big things for the blue brand. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer noted that “Roman Reigns will be working a program with Baron Corbin.” This seems to be the way that Smackdown is going to begin Roman Reign’s tenure on the blue brand.

It seems that they are going to use what happened on the debut episode as a way to begin this program. If you recall, the Rock laid the Smackdown on the winner of King of the Ring. Corbin would then send out a tweet that he demands Roman Reigns apologizes to him after what his cousin did. It’s safe to say that Roman Reigns is the top person on the blue brand and WWE is trying to build Corbin up as the second biggest heel on Smackdown. The positive to come from this is that they will be weaving The Rock throughout this story line to keep the continuity going. Time will tell to exactly how long this feud will last.

Being that the WWE has three pay-per-views left in 2019 (Crown Jewel, Survivor Series, and TLC), I would have to bet that this feud doesn’t go past TLC. Both Roman and Corbin are involved in the ten man tag match at Crown Jewel in the Team Hogan vs. Team Flair match. I would have them have a regular match at Survivor Series (If they aren’t involved in the Survivor Series match). This would lead to a TLC match at the TLC PPV in December to be the blow off. Then you can have Roman Reigns gun for the WWE title heading into WrestleMania.
