WWE: Why Kevin Owens joining the Undisputed Era makes sense
As we saw on Smackdown, Kevin Owens was “fired.” This happened as being apart of the Owens/Shane McMahon feud that has been going for sometime. Now that Owens isn’t on Smackdown (in storyline), it will be interesting to see where he ends up. He has been active on Twitter and threw out a tweet that said, “14-24-20”.
Now when you read that, you are probably scratching your head. If you think about it, the 14th letter is N, the 24th letter is X and the 20th letter is T. If the tweet is true, then we may see Kevin Owens back in NXT within the next couple of weeks. If he is going back to NXT, then there would be only one thing for him to do. He should join his buddies in the Undisputed Era and make them even more over. It’s worth noting that every UE member worked together in ROH at some point. I would make him the mouth of the Undisputed Era and become the manager. However, I would use Owens as a way to bring the Undisputed Era up to Smackdown. While I would have then run rough shot on both brands, I’d have Smackdown be their home. I would have the payoff be a five on five elimination match at Survivor Series. This would be Team Owens taking on Team Shane McMahon.
It’s clear that the Shane McMahon/Owens feud isn’t over, this would be a great way to continue it or be the blowoff. By going this way, you can have a blowoff to one of your important feuds and debut one of the future factions of the industry. However, I would have Shane McMahon beg for people to be on his team. Almost where they are hesitant but see what they do and join.
Might we see an NWO style invasion happen to the main roster soon……
