WrestleMania 35: Charlotte Should Not Be Added To The Raw Women’s Title Match
While we are a little bit over two months away from WrestleMania. The card should be coming clearer in the next couple of weeks. Ronda Rousey taking on Becky Lynch for the WWE Raw Women’s title is one of the confirmed matches. These two were set to fight at Survivor Series. However, Nia Jax would cause Becky Lynch to have a concussion and broken nose on the go-home episode of Raw. Now that we will be getting that match at WrestleMania, there’s now a bigger question that needs to be answered.
What should the WWE do with Charlotte?
As we saw at TLC, Ronda Rousey screwed both Charlotte and Becky Lynch out of the belt when she tipped the ladder on them. From that moment, the feeling was that we were getting a triple threat match at WrestleMania between these three wrestlers. There have been reports coming out that this match (whatever form we get) will probably be the main event of WrestleMania. With that being said, I don’t think Charlotte needs to be injected into that match. The WWE has a chance here to create a WrestleMania moment. If they book this the right way, you could have 80,000 people chanting Becky Lynch’s name as the ref raises her arm in victory.
Charlotte is already in that level of being a top level superstar. Becky Lynch is right at that line. By having her defeat Ronda Rousey for the Raw women’s title in a one on one match can put Becky Lynch in that superstar level. Also Charlotte is still over enough with the WWE universe and doesn’t need a belt right now. Also, by not including Charlotte in this match, you could extend the feud. That would all depend on if Charlotte moves over to Raw after WrestleMania.
